Hotel Antwerp Billard Palace, Antwerp

Staying at the hotel was a budget-friendly option for people like me. The rooms showed their age but were clean and available slightly early for check-in, though they were really tiny. The service was a mix of kindness and waking me up by opening the door while I was asleep. The hotel's location was the only highlight, right next to the central station, near most restaurants and shops. Dining was available nearby, though with limited options. The facilities were decent for the price paid.

The hotel is conveniently located just in front of the Central Station, making it easy to charge a mobile. The rooms were clean, but unfortunately, the sound from other rooms and the strong smell of smoke were noticeable. The service had its ups and downs, with some staff members being nice and helpful, while others were rude and unhelpful, to the point of the guest being bothered by bed bugs. The location, although fantastic near Antwerp Central Station, had its drawbacks, including disturbances and noise. Dining options were limited to nearby establishments, like Panos bakery, and the facilities were average.

On the bright side, the room was spacious, even though it stunk of cigarettes, and my retainers ended up with the smell. All in all, the experience was marred by being bitten by bed bugs.
